"Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God."
- Romans 8:38-39
At Word of Peace, we partner with parents to teach your children about God's love through Bible stories, activities, worship, and fellowship. Word of Peace offers church school to children ages 3 through 5th grade.
You do not need to be a member of our congregation to participate in church school or any other activity through Word of Peace. All are welcome here.
Paper registration forms are available outside the Children's Ministry office.
Children's Ministry programs are supported in part by registration fees and by financial offerings from our congregation at-large. If you are registering online, your fee will be calculated at the time of registration. Otherwise, fees may be paid by cash, check (payable to Word of Peace) or credit/debit card (swipe your card at church or pay online).
The inability to pay registration fees will never prevent any child from participating in programs. If your family is unable to afford registration fees, please contact Kari Osmek at (763) 496-2418.
We are always looking for people who love God and love kids to share their time and talents in Church School! Volunteer positions include:
Co-Teachers are leaders, mentors, and friends to a class of children. Co-teachers share teacher responsibilities with another person throughout the year.
Substitute Teachers are available throughout the year and on short notice to teach a class when a teacher is absent.
Coordinators commit to supervising church school twice a month. They count the offering, gather attendance forms, assist in classrooms, and answer questions. Leadership qualities are a must!
Administrative Support volunteers provide assistance behind-the-scenes, either at home or at church.
We are always in need of church school supplies throughout the year. Donations of the following are appreciated:
