Welcome to the part of the Youth Web site devoted to parents. I know how much you work to give your kids the best of everything and I am so excited that you encourage them to be a part of something like Word of Peace student ministries. Whether it's your first time or the last time having your kids in the youth program I greatly appreciate all you do for your kids, they are wonderful.
With that said...this will be the area where you as parents or helpers of the youth group can come to and find out the details you need to know.
For instance:
- When and where to drop off and pick up your kids for youth events.
- Printable forms for all youth events (permission slips and medical forms)
- Opportunities to volunteer and be a part of the awesome programming we have at Word of Peace.
These are just a few of the things that can be found here. Please check back regularly for updates.
Peace and God Bless,
Dain Swanson

At Word of Peace we make sure that our Youth are well cared for and have ample adult supervision and interaction. Due to the growing number of Youth wanting to participate in events sponsored by Word of Peace, we felt the need to also put in place a standard for the number of adults as well.
The youth team, director of youth ministries and associate pastor agree that a ratio of at least 6 to 1 is needed. That is for every six kids that sign up one adult needs to be present. This does not include the Youth Director. We as a youth team do not want to scramble and beg parents to chaperone, we would much have you willingly do it. If the quota is not met then we will only allow as many kids as chaperones according to the ratio. So parents, if you see that space is filling up and more and more kids are planning on coming, please consider spending some quality time with a large group of Middle or High Schoolers |
