At Word of Peace, we believe that a vital part of growing in faith, love and devotion is summer camp and outdoor ministry. Word of Peace offeres a variety of different camp options for all ages.

Family Camp @ Wapo WHEN: June 8-10 AGES: Families of all sizes, types and ages FEE: $250 maximum per family REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 1st ($75 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit due upon registration) CONTACT: Lisa Buck 763-496-2405 WAPO offers a location that feels like you are truly leaving the busyness of everyday life at home. Offered is a location and opportunity for our congregation to rest, recharge, and grow closer together. Enjoy a fun weekend filled with games, family bonding, swimming, boating (you can bring your own), and songs around the campfire. Bring your camper or stay in the retreat center. Youth Camp @ Wapo WHEN: June 10-15 AGES: Completed Grades 4-6 FEE: $390 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 5th ($100 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERSABLE deposit due upon registration) CONTACT: Lisa Buck 763.496.2405 The week is packed with a variety of activities that are meant to impact kids for eternity! Each day includes Bible study, chapel, cabin activities, free time, field games, campfire and a special worship at night. Our zany, activity filled schedule and large Christian community provide many opportunities to share faith stories, make new friends and create memories that last a lifetime. Every day is packed full of activities, games, and music, setting the stage for a powerful experience. Youth Camp at Luther Dell is focused on building relationships as we play, worship, make friends and memories that will last a lifetime. It’s a journey that we take together in pursuit of God’s heart. Come and join us on this week long adventure. Journey of the Cross @ Ox Lake WHEN: June 10—15 AGES: Completed Grades 7—12 FEE: $385 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 5th ($100 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit due upon registration) CONTACT: Marcus Eads 763.496.2410 Journey of the Cross is an awesome, high adventure camping experience! Campers build community on our low and high ropes challenge course, bike on the scenic Gandy Dancer Trail, rock climb at Interstate Park, canoe down the St. Croix River, and horseback ride at Ox Lake. The adventures we experience are symbolic of the struggles we face in our own faith journeys, and we embrace the life-long challenge to take up our cross and follow Jesus wherever he leads. Seeds Camp @ Wapo WHEN: JUNE 15—17 AGES: Completed Grades 2—3 FEE: $140 ($140 Fee due with Camp Registration) CONTACT: Lisa Buck 763.496.2405 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 5th The perfect introduction to camp life, this action packed weekend for our youngest campers begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. Knowing that this may be your child’s first camp experience or even their first time away from home, our counselors will spend every moment with these campers. They will provide a safe and caring environment filled with music, Bible study, campfires, crafts, water activities and tons of games! As students are facing the challenges of high school and preparing for what’s next, a ROOTS week at Luther Dell will challenge them to consider where they are choosing to root their hearts. Together, we will continue to develop out faith through worship, relationships, activities, and service. Come and grow the ROOTS of your faith with us.
